Keeping up the Pace ... Targeting the Wiesenthal Center

Dear Friend,

Even during the normally slower summer months, we’re keeping up the pace of the past half-year.

Taking Aim at the Wiesenthal Center

On Friday, July 29, we'll be rallying at the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles to focus public attention on the Center's record of lies in support of war, Zionist oppression and Jewish supremacism, and to protest the giveaway of millions of dollars in taxpayer funds to this bigoted Israel-first outfit.

If you live in southern California, we urge you to join us! During the next several weeks, we’ll be announcing further details about this important event, along with additional information on the despicable record of this bastion of Jewish-Zionist power.

In organizing this demonstration, we’re encouraged by the success of our Los Angeles rallies on behalf of political prisoner Ernst Zundel. Our February 4 demonstration at the Canadian consulate, for example, generated tremendous media attention. (See the detailed reports, with photos, posted on our website.)

New York Meeting: On Saturday, July 16, I’ll be addressing a special IHR meeting in New York City. I’ll speak about the mounting cost, for America and the world, of the Jewish-Zionist grip on our nation’s political and cultural life. Details about this event will be posted and mailed out soon.

The US invasion and occupation of Iraq has already taken the lives of 1,700 Americans and many tens of thousands of Iraqis, and has cost the American people many tens of billions of dollars. As I’ll stress at the July 16 meeting, Israel-first “neo-conservatives” are now pressing the US to war against Iran and Syria as part of the long-range Jewish-Zionist effort to remove every regime in the area that is a real or potential threat to Israel.

Everyone -- regardless of background, worldview or religion -- should unite to oppose this dangerous Jewish-Zionist campaign.

New CD/ DVD Duplicator: Thanks to the generosity of a young supporter, we now have a professional duplicator that enables us to quickly turn out high quality CD and DVD discs. This is part of our long-range project to distribute a wide range of audio and video items in CD and DVD format. For example, we’re producing CDs with the talks on Hitler’s place in history given by David Irving and myself at a recent IHR meeting.

Media Outreach:  Last week a television journalist conducted a lengthy interview with me for an in-depth report on Jewish power in the United States and its role in determining US foreign policy that will be aired on a major Arab television network. A few days later, two journalism students from Santa Barbara visited our office to conduct a detailed interview with me as part of a film documentary on “The Holocaust: Sixty Years Later.”

Such interviews are a routine part of our ongoing media outreach effort, which over the past year has included many broadcast interviews and appearances on radio talk shows, reaching hundreds of thousands of new listeners on both regular and short wave radio in the US and overseas, as well as through the Internet.

Website Impact: Our website is more effective than ever. It is one of the world’s most popular sites, attracting more visitors than those of much more prominent and better funded organizations.

We can never hope to match our adversaries dollar for dollar, but through the Internet we are able to reach a large, global audience, bypassing the media masters who try to control what you see and hear.

The IHR website -- our most important way of reaching people -- is regularly updated with news and comment from around the world, and reports on the Institute’s work and impact. With its tremendous library and archives, the site also serves as a great learning center, informing and educating people -– around the clock and around the world.

Our “IHR News & Comment” e-mail service continues to grow, attracting an ever greater number of subscribers. (To subscribe to this free service, drop a line to news@ihr.org)

Every week we receive letters, messages and calls from students, teachers and researchers who turn to the IHR for solid information and sound guidance. We respond as best we can, but in truth we simply don’t have the staff and time to properly help all those who ask.

And all this is on top of our routine work of promoting, processing and distributing educational materials. Over the years, we’ve distributed many tens of thousands of books, leaflets, tapes and other items -- a record unmatched by any similar center or association.

As you can see, this work – and highlighting the dangerous deceit of the Wiesenthal Center and other bastions of Jewish-Zionist power – are just part of our determined struggle against bigotry, censorship, intellectual oppression and historical lies.

To maintain the Institute’s effectiveness on the forefront of this great global struggle, support from friends like you is crucial.

We urgently need your help to make the IHR even more influential and effective -- by reaching many more people across America and around the world, by expanding and strengthening our website, by launching new books, by hiring new staff members -- and much more.

I look forward to your generous response.

Sincerely,

Mark Weber
