The idea was to meet up with a bunch of student radicals from an extreme right fraternity. Their hobbies include dressing up in funny clothes and little pillbox caps, then drawing blood by slashing one another's cheeks in fencing duels. They've been at it since Bismarck's day. According to Mr Kresbach, Irving smelt a rat in the shape of Austrian plainclothes police after a chat with the student leaders in a Vienna coffee house. He headed south to Graz and was stopped by motorway police on the return journey to Vienna. As a result, this morning he is sitting in Josefstadt.

'Holocaust Denial' Laws Are Disgraceful

David Irving, the controversial British historian, was arrested in Austria on November 11 for a 16-year-old violation of that country’s “Holocaust denial” statute. He has now been formally charged, and if found guilty could face years in prison. His case is by no means unique. In Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and several other European countries, as well as in Israel, it is a crime publicly to dispute the official version of Holocaust history. The list of those who have been fined, imprisoned, or forced into exile for “denying the Holocaust” includes Robert Faurisson and Roger Garaudy in France, Siegfried Verbeke in Belgium, Juergen Graf and Gaston-Armand Amaudruz in Switzerland, and Guenter Deckert, Hans Schmidt and Fredrick Toben in Germany. On November 8 the trial in Germany of “Holocaust denier” Ernst Zundel began with a dramatic clash between his attorneys and the presiding judge.

Based on the way the probe is starting to shape up, it's clear the administration, particularly Feith, who resigned earlier this year, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and possibly Cheney will bear the brunt of the blame, because the three of them sidestepped the usual intelligence gathering process that historically was handled by the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency in favor of their own clandestine intelligence gathering operations...

History Matters: Few Know of the Massacre of German POWs in Utah

In July 1945, 250 German POWs were in Salina to help with the harvest. They were housed in wooden floored tents watched over by three guard towers. Beyond the occasional hard-core Nazis who carved swastikas into peaches, the Germans were mostly well behaved. On July 7, after a full day of work in Salina's beet fields, the Germans were marched back to their compound. Following the evening meal, they went to their tents to sleep. At midnight, the guard changed. Pvt. Clarence V. Bertucci climbed into the tower nearest the camp commander's office. Bertucci, a native of New Orleans, had a record of minor infractions of military discipline, but nothing serious. Bertucci waited a few minutes for the previous watch to find their beds. Then he opened an ammunition box containing a belt of 250 bullets, slapped the belt securely into the tower's machine gun, and swung the loaded weapon toward the tents of sleeping POWs. Thirty seconds after pulling the trigger the belt was exhausted. Nine POWs were killed.

21 Year Old Czech Taken To Court Over Showing Support For Zundel

A 21-year-old man who demonstrated in support of imprisoned German Holocaust denier Ernst Zuendel on October 28, a Czech national holiday, will be tried in court for the denial of Holocaust, state attorney Zdenka Galkova said. Galkova said she sent the man's file to the court today. If found guilty, he faces up to three years in prison. Zuendel, 66, was charged with spreading hatred against Jews via internet and the statement that Holocaust - or the extermination of six million Jews during World War Two - never happened. A demonstration in support of Zuendel was held outside the German Embassy in Prague where some 70 neo-Nazis handed a petition. Police detained two of the demonstrators. The second man was released because the charges were not proved. Police recorded the actions of the charged man during the demonstration.

North Carolina High School Students 'Study' Holocaust Through Art

A model of a concentration camp displayed maps representing Europe before World War I. These are two examples of art projects teachers Anna Moose, 25 and Elaine Abernathy, 39, assigned to help their 10th grade English students better understand war and how it affects society. Moose and Abernathy's students took their projects and made a walk through gallery for parents and other students. Moose said on Monday evening that she wants her students to understand the experience of war. "All of the projects represent what different people went through during the Holocaust and why some people acted the way they did," Moose said. "The propaganda of WWI and WWII is important. I tried to show them how easily we can buy into propaganda of war."

War On Iraq: Not Oil But Israel

The most popular argument of the critics of the Iraq war has been that the United States went to war for oil — that is, that the war had nothing to do with combating terrorism. Writing in the Christian Science Monitor before the war, Brendan O'Neill reported that "for many in the antiwar movement, the idea that the Bushies' plan to invade the Gulf to get their greasy hands on more oil has become an article of faith, an unquestionable truth repeated like a mantra." That goes against what I regard as the fundamental reason for the war: the war was led by neoconservatives and fought in the interests of Israel, at least as Likudniks envision Israel's interests. It is all well-documented, though the neocons imply that Israeli interests coincide with those of the United States. But as I point out in my article on the subject — and this fact is on the public record, too — the original idea for the war was conceived in Israel. Moreover, the war achieved the goal hoped for by the Likudniks — destabilization of the Middle East.

Secret European Union Report Strongly Criticizes Israel

The confidential report, prepared by top diplomats representing the 25 EU governments in the city, warns that the chances of a two-state solution are being eroded by Israel's "deliberate policy" - in breach of international of law - of "completing the annexation of East Jerusalem". European Foreign Ministers this week vetoed planned publication of the report - which also warns that rapid expansion of Jewish settlements in and around East Jerusalem, along with use of the separation barrier to isolate East Jerusalem from the West Bank, "risk radicalising the hitherto relatively quiescent Palestinian population of East Jerusalem".

Gerard Menuhin, 57, caused uproar by suggesting that Germany was being blackmailed by an international Jewish conspiracy preying on the country’s war guilt. This campaign, he writes, was “a diabolical brainwashing plot directed against one of the most decent, peaceful, disciplined and hardworking peoples on earth.” The success of this corrosive campaign, Schmidt contends, is manifest in historical distortion on a massive scale, and in a postwar German policy of “national masochism.” Its aim is the spiritual annihilation of the German people. Bush Discussed Bombing Al-Jazeera, Says Suppressed Memo

A senior executive of the Arabic news channel, al-Jazeera, is seeking an urgent meeting with Tony Blair over a report that George Bush discussed bombing the satellite channel's headquarters in Qatar. Wadah Khanfar, al-Jazeera's director general, is flying to Britain this weekend after newspaper reports that President Bush made the comments during a face-to-face meeting with Mr Blair at the White House on April 16 last year. Mr Bush's alleged comments about bombing al-Jazeera's building in Doha are reported to be contained in a note of the meeting. The attorney general, Lord Goldsmith, has warned newspapers they could be charged under the Official Secrets Act if they publish further material from the note. In the Commons yesterday, the Liberal Democrat MP David Heath said Lord Goldsmith had threatened editors with the Official Secrets Act to prevent government embarrassment rather than protect national security.

But are they? To my knowledge, no editorials, no op-ed's, and no politicians have yet commented publicly on the implications of our prime minister's blanket statement, or on the speech itself -- the full text of which was published by the National Post under the headline, "Israel's values are Canada's values." So let us stop for a moment and examine the top ten reasons (among many) why reality might paint a very different picture of the rose-coloured feeling our PM suggested: 1. Israel has no constitution. A constitution is a must for any democracy. Constitutions are needed to establish clearly defined physical, ethical, humanitarian and legal borders, recognizing the citizens living within them -- both their rights and their responsibilities.

Beethoven Likely Victim Of Lead Poisoning

An analysis of skull fragments from German composer Ludwig van Beethoven confirms that he suffered from lead poisoning for many years, a possible cause for his dour demeanor, researchers said Thursday. Beethoven had hoped that some day it would be revealed why he acted the way he did," said Paul Kaufmann, the owner of the skull fragments, who loaned them to the Ira F. Brilliant Center for Beethoven Studies at San Jose State University. "He was seen as angry and uncooperative at times. This finding helps shed some light on that," he said. "Now we know that this was the reason for his suffering." Lead poisoning can lead to headaches, fatigue, concentration problems and other health issues. Analysis in the late 1990s from a lock of Beethoven's hair indicated that he had lead poisoning at the time of his death, but the latest skull analysis revealed that the condition existed over a long period of time.

Historian David Irving Charged With Denying the 'Holocaust' in Austria

British historian David Irving was charged Tuesday with violating an Austrian law that makes Holocaust denial in this formerly Nazi-ruled nation a crime. Irving, a controversial Third Reich scholar who has claimed that Adolf Hitler knew nothing about the systematic slaughter of 6 million Jews, is accused of giving two speeches in 1989 in which he denied the existence of Nazi gas chambers during World War II, prosecutor Otto Schneider said. He was arrested Nov. 11 in the southern province of Styria on a warrant issued in 1989. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison. Irving, 67, remains in custody in Vienna. His attorney, Elmar Kresbach, said he would decide how to proceed after discussing the charges with his client Wednesday. A detention hearing will be held Friday to determine whether Irving should be held for up to four more weeks, Schneider said. Besides his assertion that Hitler knew nothing about the Holocaust, he also has been quoted as saying there was "not one shred of evidence" that the Nazis carried out their "Final Solution" to exterminate the Jewish population on such a massive scale.

On November 1^st, unanimously and without a vote, the representatives of the 191 nations making up the UN adopted — or let be adopted — an Israeli-drafted resolution proclaiming January 27^th “International Day of Commemoration in memory of the victims of the Holocaust”. It is thus confirmed that historical revisionism is a phenomenon of exceptional nature and also that the Jews, yet once more, have been able to obtain exorbitant privileges. It was through a sleight of hand that the Israeli delegation succeeded in getting this resolution passed.

Daniel Pipes: After years of vague talk about a "war against terrorism," American officials have shifted rhetorical gears in the last few months, identifying America's enemy more openly as Islamic fundamentalism. It's a change that conservative Middle East scholar Daniel Pipes, 56, has been urging since the first days after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Pipes, founder and president of the Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum, has routinely been out front of Israeli and American policymakers. His dour views, delivered on his Web site and in columns in conservative publications, has sometimes gotten him tagged as an anti-Muslim bigot by liberal academics, Arab leaders and some Democratic lawmakers. This year, however, he seemed increasingly energetic in pressing the implied flip-side of his message — that moderate, non-fundamentalist Muslims are essential allies.

Irving Faces Week In Austria Cell

The revisionist British historian David Irving is likely to remain in custody in Austria for at least a week, prosecutors say. The authorities are considering whether to put him on trial for denying the Nazi mass extermination of Jews, the public prosecutor's spokesman said. He was detained a week ago on a warrant issued in 1989 under Austrian laws that make it a crime to deny the Holocaust. Mr Irving was stopped in the southern province of Styria, en route to Vienna. If formally charged, tried and convicted, Mr Irving could face up to 20 years in prison, said the spokesman, Otto Schneider. In his books, Mr Irving has argued that the scale of the extermination of the Jews by the Nazis in World War II has been exaggerated. He also claimed that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler knew nothing of the Holocaust.

ADL clearly has a different standard which applies to "synagogue and state" versus "church and state." ADL is accustomed to massive legislative or judicial victories, such as Roe v. Simple. Christians should continue to do what they do best: unconditionally support Israel morally, militarily, and financially. ADL should continue to trash Christian values and symbols, dominating government and media, and silencing all opposition by threatening to label its opponents anti-Semitic.

US Lied About Chemical Weapons Use In Iraq

Did US troops use chemical weapons in Falluja? The answer is yes. The proof is not to be found in the documentary broadcast on Italian TV last week, which has generated gigabytes of hype on the internet. It's a turkey, whose evidence that white phosphorus was fired at Iraqi troops is flimsy and circumstantial. But the bloggers debating it found the smoking gun. The first account they unearthed in a magazine published by the US army. In the March 2005 edition of Field Artillery, officers from the 2nd Infantry's fire support element boast about their role in the attack on Falluja in November last year: "White Phosphorous. WP proved to be an effective and versatile munition. We used it for screening missions at two breeches and, later in the fight, as a potent psychological weapon against the insurgents in trench lines and spider holes when we could not get effects on them with HE [high explosive]. We fired 'shake and bake' missions at the insurgents, using WP to flush them out and HE to take them out."

Israeli Banks Profit From 'Holocaust'

Investigations by the Israeli parliament have dug up disturbing evidence that Israel has been profiting for decades from vast sums invested in local banks by European Jews who died in the Nazi death camps. And even now the banks are delaying returning the money to their heirs. But unlike a similar scandal that hit European banks in the mid-90s, almost no pressure is being brought to bear on the Israeli banks by the Israeli government or by Jewish reparation organisations representing Holocaust families, who were the main critics of the European banks. The Israeli government is believed to be keeping quiet because it is deeply involved in the local banking scandal itself, and the Jewish organisations are reported to be concerned that exposure of the story will damage Israel's international reputation.

Archaeologists Find Western World's Oldest Map In Italy

The oldest map of anywhere in the western world, dating from about 500 BC, has been unearthed in southern Italy. Known as the Soleto Map, the depiction of Apulia, the heel of Italy's "boot", is on a piece of black-glazed terracotta vase about the size of a postage stamp. It was found in a dig led by the Belgian archaeologist Thierry van Compernolle, of Montpellier University, two years ago. But its existence was kept secret until more research was carried out. "The map offers, to date, for the Mediterranean, and more generally for western civilisation, the oldest map of a real space," the university said recently. Its engraved place names are indicated by points, just as on maps today, and are written in ancient Greek. The sea on the western side, Taras (Taranto), today's Gulf of Taranto, is named in Greek. Many of the 13 towns marked on the map, such as Otranto, Soleto, Ugento and Leuca (now called Santa Maria di Leuca) still exist.

Zundel Trial Halted After Judge Dismisses Defense Attorney

A judge said Tuesday the trial of Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel will be rescheduled after firing one of the defence lawyers. Judge Ulrich Meinerzhagen ordered Sylvia Stolz dismissed, saying he doubted she would defend Zundel properly and that a replacement would need time to prepare. Meinerzhagen ordered that Zundel remain in custody but set no date for the trial to reopen. The court also dismissed a defence motion calling for Meinerzhagen's removal. Zundel, 66, who was deported to his native Germany from Canada in March, faces charges of incitement, libel and disparaging the dead before the state court in the southwestern city of Mannheim. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in jail if convicted. At the opening of Zundel's trial last week, Meinerzhagen dismissed Horst Mahler, himself a prominent far-right activist, who Stolz had wanted as her assistant. The judge said Stolz, one of Zundel's four lawyers, may have committed an offence herself by allowing Mahler to help prepare the defence's case.

Germar Rudolf Deported To Germany

A man who published a study that he said proved the Nazis did not gas Jews at Auschwitz has been deported from the US to his native Germany to serve a prison term for Holocaust denial, prosecutors in the city of Stuttgart said. The deportation took place on Tuesday. Germar Rudolf, also known as Germar Scheerer, had his emergency petition to block the deportation rejected by the US Supreme Court on Thursday. Rudolf, a 1989 chemistry graduate of Bonn University and a former student at Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart , Germany , was sentenced in 1995 to 14 months in prison for Holocaust denial, a crime in Germany , but then disappeared. Rudolf's Expert Report on the Formation and Detectability of Cyanide Compounds in the Gas Chambers' of Auschwitz concluded that "no mass gassings with hydrogen cyanide took place in the National Socialist concentration camp Auschwitz ".

Now that we are three years into the war, more and more military, national security, and intelligence leaders are speaking out. Some examples: Brent Scowcroft, national security adviser to President George H.W. Bush and deputy to Henry Kissinger in the Nixon administration, argued in 2002, "An attack on Iraq at this time would seriously jeopardize, if not destroy, the global counterterrorist campaign we have undertaken." Weeks before the 2004 presidential election, he described the Iraq war as a "failing venture," President George W. Bush as being "mesmerized" by Ariel Sharon, and his unilateralist policy as undermining relations with U.S. allies. Scowcroft was a strong advocate for the Gulf War to remove Saddam from Kuwait, but during that war he opposed invading Iraq and removing Saddam: "At the minimum, we'd be an occupier in a hostile land. Our forces would be sniped at by guerrillas, and, once we were there, how would we get out? What would be the rationale for leaving?"

Britain Wartime Torture Camp Revealed

The British government operated a secret torture centre during the second world war to extract information and confessions from German prisoners, according to official papers which have been unearthed by the Guardian. More than 3,000 prisoners passed through the centre, where many were systematically beaten, deprived of sleep, forced to stand still for more than 24 hours at a time and threatened with execution or unnecessary surgery. Some are also alleged to have been starved and subjected to extremes of temperature in specially built showers, while others later complained that they had been threatened with electric shock torture or menaced by interrogators brandishing red-hot pokers. The centre, which was housed in a row of mansions in one of London's most affluent neighbourhoods, was carefully concealed from the Red Cross, the papers show. It continued to operate for three years after the war, during which time a number of German civilians were also tortured.

David Wyman's Book Hyping Christian Guilt For 'Holocaust' Feted In Top Ecumenical Journal

Book Review: The Abandonment of the Jews

...in The Abandonment of the Jews, David Wyman goes further than any other historian to accuse the Allied wartime leadership of passive complicity in the Holocaust. Wyman makes no secret of his basic outlook. In the preface he describes himself as "strongly pro-Zionist" and a "resolute supporter of the state of Israel." He is a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Simon Wiesenthal Center of Los Angeles. The bias that pervades this book is reflected, for example, in Wyman's reference to "the alleged Russian massacre of Polish officers at the Katyn forest." (p. 334. Emphasis added.) While eager to accept at face value the unsubstantiated Holocaust story, Wyman is unwilling to acknowledge the indisputably established Soviet slaughter of thousands of leading Poles in the Katyn forest near Smolensk.

What makes for the strength of the Jewish State is the political support, rooted in supposedly ethical grounds, that it enjoys in the entire Western world, where people feel sorry for the Jews because they believe that, during the Second World War, the Germans sought to exterminate them physically, in particular in the alleged gas chambers (not to be confused with the cremation ovens, which did actually exist and about which there was positively nothing criminal).” If the whole world – in particular, Germany and the United States – lays out so much money to the Jewish State and if the media of all the Western countries overwhelm us with propaganda about the "Holocaust", it's because the citizens of all those Western countries, swamped with Jewish propaganda as they are, believe the "Holocaust" lie and, as long as they believe it, will feel bound to support the Jews and to supply the Jewish State and the Jewish Army with ever more money and arms.

A documentary to be aired on Tuesday by Italian state satellite TV channel RAI News 24 alleges that US troops used chemical weapons during their assault on the insurgent stronghold of Fallujah in November last year. The documentary - 'Fallujah - the hidden massacre' - uses witness accounts from former US soldiers, Fallujah residents, video footage and photographs, to support its claim that contrary to US State Department denials, white phosphorous was used indiscriminately on the city, causing terrible injuries to civilians, including women and children. "I heard the order being issued to be careful because white phosphorous was being used on Fallujah. In military slang this is known as Willy Pete. Phosphorous burns bodies, melting the flesh right down to the bone," says one former US solider, interviewed by the documentary's director, Sigfrido Ranucci. "I saw the burned bodies of women and children..." the former soldier adds.

Zündel Trial in Germany Postponed Shortly After Opening

The trial of Ernst Zuendel, a prominent German Holocaust denier deported from Canada earlier this year, was delayed shortly after it started on Tuesday after the judge dismissed part of his defence team. Zuendel, 66 year-old publisher of works such as "Did six million really die?", is facing charges of inciting racial hatred and denying that the Nazis murdered around six million Jews during World War Two. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison. Judge Ulrich Meinerzhagen ruled that Horst Mahler, a disbarred lawyer associated with the violent far-left Red Army Faction in the 1970s who has since become a supporter of far-right and anti-Semitic ideas, could not be part of the defense team. He also dismissed Zuendel's publicly appointed defender Sylvia Stolz on the grounds that Mahler's ideas were reflected in her written submissions to the court.

Jewish Terrorist Killed In Prison

A Jewish Defense League activist imprisoned for his role in a plot to bomb a Culver City mosque and the office of a Lebanese-American congressman, was killed at a federal prison in Phoenix, an FBI spokesman said Saturday. Earl Krugel, 62, was killed at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Federal Correctional Institution in an assault, said Richard Murray, an FBI special agent in Phoenix. Krugel pleaded guilty in 2003 to one count of conspiracy to violate the civil rights of worshippers at the mosque and one count of carrying an explosive device in connection with a conspiracy to impede or injure an officer of the United States. Prosecutors also alleged that he took credit for the 1984 arson fire in Torrance of the Institute for Historical Review, a lightning rod of controversy in the early 1980s because it published material contending that the Holocaust was a hoax. No one was charged in that fire and Krugel's lawyer in 2002 denied his client had any part in the attack.

New York City Students To Study 'Holocaust' Through Cartoons

On the anniversary of the Nazis' Kristallnacht pogrom (Nov. 10), hundreds of New York City high school students will learn about the Holocaust -- through cartoons. The exhibit is sponsored by The David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, and is accompanied by a lecture and discussion with Wyman Institute director Dr. Rafael Medoff. "This is a unique and engaging new way for students to learn about the Holocaust," Medoff notes. "Through the eyes of political cartoonists in the 1940s, students are able to learn about the major events of the Holocaust and America's response to it." Famed comic book artist and editor Joe Kubert, who authored the exhibit's introduction, adds: "Cartoon illustrations can, with just a few strokes of the pen, convey an image or an idea that will remain in the readers' minds for years to come."

Syrian Officials Claim Israel Exploiting International Pressure

Syria accused Israel on Tuesday of seeking to exploit intense US-led pressure on Damascus to reject calls for peace talks over the occupied Golan Heights. "Israeli officials are trying to exploit the wave of political, media and psychological pressure on Syria in order to express in a rude manner their hostile attitudes toward Syria," Syrian Information Minister Mahdi Dakhlallah said in a statement carried by SANA, the official news agency. He was reacting to a statement attributed to Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Monday in which he said that he would not negotiate with Syria on the return of the Israeli-occupied strategic high ground. "I don't intend to enter negotiations with Syria because I don't want to withdraw from the Golan Heights," Sharon told parliament's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in Jerusalem, according to lawmaker Yuval Steinitz, head of the committee. In past talks, Syria has demanded the return of the territory, which Israel captured in the 1967 Six-Day War and later annexed.

Zundel Files Suit Against Canada For Unjust Internment

Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel is suing the federal government for $10-million, claiming he was unjustly held in solitary confinement and deported to Germany. In a statement of claim filed yesterday, Mr. Zundel said that his treatment at the hands of the government was illegal and unconstitutional. Mr. Justice Pierre Blais of the Federal Court ruled in February that Mr. Zundel was a threat to national security and that he had tried to develop and maintain a global network of groups with an interest in a "right-wing, extremist, neo-Nazi mindset." Mr. Zundel was deported to Germany in March, jailed there, and charged with inciting racial hatred. Judge Blais said it was reasonable to hold Mr. Zundel in jail in Canada under the controversial security certificate process, which allows secret hearings that are closed to the accused and their lawyers. Government lawyers will try to have Mr. Zundel's suit thrown out at a hearing in the Federal Court on Nov. 23.

The National Security Agency (N.S.A.) has kept secret since 2001 a finding by an agency historian that during the Tonkin Gulf episode, which helped precipitate the Vietnam War, N.S.A. officers deliberately distorted critical intelligence to cover up their mistakes, two people familiar with the historian's work say. The historian's conclusion is the first serious accusation that communications intercepted by the N.S.A., the secretive eavesdropping and code-breaking agency, were falsified so that they made it look as if North Vietnam had attacked American destroyers on Aug. 4, 1964, two days after a previous clash. President Lyndon B. Johnson cited the supposed attack to persuade Congress to authorize broad military action in Vietnam, but most historians have concluded in recent years that there was no second attack.

CIA Holds Terror Suspects in Secret Prisons

The CIA has been hiding and interrogating some of its most important al Qaeda captives at a Soviet-era compound in Eastern Europe, according to US and foreign officials familiar with the arrangement. The secret facility is part of a covert prison system set up by the CIA nearly four years ago that at various times has included sites in eight countries, including Thailand, Afghanistan and several democracies in Eastern Europe, as well as a small center at the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba, according to current and former intelligence officials and diplomats from three continents. The CIA and the White House, citing national security concerns and the value of the program, have dissuaded Congress from demanding that the agency answer questions in open testimony about the conditions under which captives are held. Virtually nothing is known about who is kept in the facilities, what interrogation methods are employed with them, or how decisions are made about whether they should be detained or for how long.

Stuttgart Remains To Be Reburied Sans Forensic Tests and 'Holocaust' Link

German authorities Thursday issued an order for the re-burial of human bones found at Stuttgart Airport, after Jewish groups protested against the exhumation of the remains of apparent Holocaust victims. Prosecutors, who have opened a murder inquiry, were told to dispense with DNA tests on the 34 sets of bones, which they had hoped would identify the dead and confirm the Holocaust link. Independent evidence suggests the remains were those of Jewish slave labourers who died of starvation and typhoid while forced to work in a Gestapo camp between November 1944 and February 1945, when the site was a Luftwaffe air strip during World War II. Jewish religious scholars said the exhumation and the tests violated the requirement to leave the dead in peace. The mass grave was accidentally discovered during airport construction work in September.

The indictment of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby by Special Prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald provides the most cogent and visible evidence to date of the criminal mindset that exists inside the Bush administration regarding the decision to invade Iraq. The indictment is linked to Libby's involvement in illegally revealing the identity of a covert CIA operative, Valerie Plame, in violation of U.S. law, and the resultant conspiracy to deny and cover up the fact that this crime had in fact taken place. But the real crime committed here is the deception leading to war carried out by the Bush administration, in particular the activities of the vice president, Dick Cheney, and his chief of staff, "Scooter" Libby, which is why they felt they needed to go after former Ambassador Joseph Wilson and his wife, Plame.

In President Bush's first term, some of the most important decisions about U.S. national security — including vital decisions about postwar Iraq — were made by a secretive, little-known cabal. It was made up of a very small group of people led by Vice President Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. The movie’s central character is “Dr. David Bardash,” a French scholar who is murdered by Zionist agents for having concluded, after years of research, that the Nazi “extermination gas chambers” never existed. The character seems to be modeled loosely on Dr. Robert Faurisson, a French professor who has, in fact, repeatedly been a victim of attacks by Jewish-Zionist groups that are angered by his emphatic finding that the infamous gas chambers are mythical.

Muslim Group Slams Appointment of Canadian Jews to Federal Security Positions

The Canadian Islamic Congress is criticizing the appointment of two prominent Jewish men to important federal posts, describing them as "bad news" for Muslims. The Islamic Congress, the most prominent organization claiming to represent Canada's 750,000-person Muslim community, is objecting to the appointments of Leo Kolber, 76, and Jonathan Schneiderman, 43. Kolber, a former senator and a longtime adviser to the Bronfman family, was named recently to chair a federal advisory panel on national security. In August 2004, Schneiderman, who earlier served as a regional president of B'nai Brith Canada, was tapped to be an adviser to Foreign Minister Pierre Pettigrew.

Delaware Police Examine Lessons of 'Holocaust'

He challenged them to define the word "stereotype." What negative images do people have of police? How do you want kids to view you? Friedman reminded them that, unlike in Nazi Germany, the American public has the freedom to express disrespect.
