The Enemy Within

World War IV is emboldening the tiny group of Americans who sympathize with our enemies in World War II, the Forward reports. The New York Jewish weekly quotes a statement on the Web site of the Institute for Historical Review, a Holocaust-denial group: "For the first time ever, organized Jewry and its non-Jewish apologists in political life and the media are having real difficulty whitewashing Zionist atrocities."

The Forward notes that the IHR Web site lists among scheduled speakers at its forthcoming conference "Joseph Sobran, former editor of William Buckley's conservative National Review, who will lecture on the 'Jewish question.'" This is both inaccurate -- Sobran was a senior editor, not the editor, of NR -- and unfair to Buckley, who fired Sobran more than a decade ago because of the latter's anti-Semitic views.

Also on the list of speakers at the IHR conference: "Tony Martin, Professor of African studies at Wellesley College (Massachusetts), who has authored or compiled/edited eleven books, will speak on the Jewish role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade." The kooks converge....
